I started Sugar Riot because I was tired of the way things were done. I’ve spent years in this industry - both as an esthetician and as the client on the table, and I know what it feels like to walk away from an appointment feeling rushed, disappointed, or like care just wasn’t taken.

After working at one of Calgary's busiest Body Sugaring Salons for many years and taking on the role of Lead Practitioner I decided it was time to move into my own studio and create a space where clients (long term and new!) feel appreciated and know they are receiving the highest level of care - without feeling like they are being rushed.

At Sugar Riot, that’s not how we do things. I take my time, I pay attention, and I genuinely care that you leave feeling better than when you came in—not just smoother, but seen and looked after.

 

This isn’t about perfection. It’s about being intentional. It’s about making sure every client gets a service that actually feels worth it. Whether it’s sugaring, brows, or lashes, my goal is always the same: deliver thoughtful, detail-driven work in a space that feels safe and real.
