Stuff You Should Know Before You Strip

WHERE ARE WE LOCATED?
We are located in Acadia, SE Calgary. We are inside Purple Chrome Hair Salon (in the back). You are welcome to take a seat in the chairs at the front of the salon when you arrive and I will come and greet you and bring you back.
WHAT IF I AM RUNNING LATE?
We have a 10 minute grace period, after that we have the right to reschedule your service if there is not enough time to do an outstanding job. There may be a rescheduling fee.
CAN I BRING A SPOUSE/CHILD/FRIEND TO MY APPOINTMENT?
We regret that we cannot accommodate anyone else in our treatment room other than the client and practitioner. There are chairs at the front of the salon however, there is no supervisor for children.

HOW LONG SHOULD MY HAIR BE?
For best results, hair should be about 1/4 inch long or roughly a long grain of rice. That usually means 2-3 weeks of growth since your last shave.
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE?
Ensure you are hydrated for your appointment! Avoid caffeine the day of and alcohol 24 hours prior. Wear loose fitting comfortable clothing for after your hair removal appointment. Avoid workouts, tanning, baths/saunas or intercourse (for bikini area) for at least 24 hours post service. Do not exfoliate less than 24 hrs prior to your appointment.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I SUGAR BEFORE A TRIP?
We understand that you may only want to sugar prior to a trip to avoid having to shave. However, it is advisable to begin your sugaring routine a few months prior to your departure to ensure all hair growth is in even cycles. You will still get longer results than shaving, but it takes a couple visits to ensure the smooth lasts!
DO YOU HAVE A CANCELLATION POLICY?
Yes, we do and we will always do our best not to implement it. We understand life happens, and you may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. We ask that if possible you give us at least 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Emergencies and legitimate illness will never be penalized - please do not come to your appointment sick. No shows will be charged 100% of the service fee. Habitual late cancellations/rescheduling will result in a deposit needed to book future appointments.
